July 14th-15th -16th 2006 Extreme Discipline and Black Belt Testing Camp

Master
Konrad Spillmann, 7th dan and a Vice President of Taekwon-Do International, held his annual summer camp in Aliso Viejo, California.
This year, his very successful camp attracted more than 80 students and black belts instructors from all over the world. All
participants pushed themselves mentally, physically and spiritually by undergoing 36 hours of intensive martial arts training
over a 3-day period and with only 7 hours of sleep total. Some of the guest instructors involved in making the camp
memorable and instructional included: Master Marr from Glenridge, New Jersey who taught traditional forms; Grandmaster Jong
Man Park from the Korean HapKiDo Federation who taught Kumdo; Rocian Gracie from the World Brazilian Jiujitsu Federation who
taught Brazilian Jiujitsu; Sensei Marsich from Sanchi-Ryu who, together with Master Spillmann, taught street self-defense
and pressure point attacks. The camp benefited all who attended.
The students all worked hard to physically test
their individual limits and met all the mental and spiritual challenges of the intensive camp through diligence and immense
effort. As one student said, "The sense of accomplishment is overwhelming. We all learned so much about martial arts
and self-defense, as well as about ourselves." This year's camp was a huge success and we all are eagerly awaiting next
year's challenges.
