Master Spillmann has also trained in Korea and was
awarded Poomse Certification under Grandmaster Kyu Hyung Lee and Kukkiwon.
Grandmaster Lee is
one of the highest ranking taekwondo masters in the world and one of the most revered Poomsae instructors in the history of
Taekwondo.
He was the 1988 Olympic Taekwondo Demonstration team coach and the Korean Team coach for the First
World Taekwondo Poomsae Competition. For over twnety-years, he was coach of the internationally famous Midong Elementary
School Demonstration team who have performed for royalty and heads of state around the world. He holds a Ph.D. in physical
education. Currently he is a professor at Keimyung University in Taegu, South Korea.
